Part-Time Assistant Community Manager

 

 

We are currently looking for a part-time motivated, self-starting, self-disciplined, friendly and energetic Assistant Community Manager. She/he will have a strong entrepreneurial spirit to network, drive membership growth, and create a collaborative, fun, and highly productive environment, and manage day-to-day operations.

 

The core responsibilities of she/he would include:

 

  • Regularly attending networking and/or meetup events in the local Madison area to drive awareness to entrepreneurs for Brix & Mortar Coworking
  • Member Signups
  • Member Communications
  • Tours
  • Keeping kitchen area up (restocking coffee/water, beverage supplies, keeping dishes area clean and picked up, etc.)
  • Keeping space tidy throughout the day
  • Work with the Community Manager to provide a highly productive environment for entrepreneurs

 

Hosting Meetups at Brix: This person is friendly and provides an energetic pair of hands that can execute any meetup:

 

  • Space setup and teardown
  • Greeting attendees and performing attendee check-ins
  • Testing and running A/V equipment
  • Event Rentals

 

Experience and Competencies:

 

  • Extremely personable, high energy, positive attitude, and highly dependable
  • 1-2 years’ hospitality, business development, marketing, or sales experience
  • Entrepreneurial and resourceful
  • Detail oriented and highly organized
  • Demonstrates integrity, responsibility, and accountability

 

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: $10 to $11/hour
